Founder & Visionary

Mr. Dhamesh Sangani is an entrepreneur turned film producer whose vision, passion, and belief in creative education led to the inception of the Shekhar Suman Film Academy. With a strong entrepreneurial background and a deep-rooted love for cinema, he brings together strategic thinking and creative sensibility to build an institution dedicated to nurturing genuine talent.

Having successfully transitioned from business to film production, Mr. Sangani understands both the creative and operational realities of the entertainment industry. His journey reflects a rare balance of ambition and purpose — using experience, resources, and insight to create a platform where aspiring actors and film professionals can receive structured, relevant, and future-ready training.

Driven by the belief that talent flourishes best with the right mentorship and environment, he envisioned an academy that blends industry experience with a new-age approach to learning.

Adhyayan Suman

Founder & Director

Adhyayan Suman is an accomplished Indian actor, singer and a multifaceted creative professional whose journey spans acting, music, direction, and entrepreneurship. With a strong foundation in performance and storytelling, he brings a rare blend of artistic sensitivity and contemporary vision to his work.

Educated at The Millfield School, London, and later trained at the New York Film Academy, Adhyayan developed his craft early on, further honing his skills through theatre, including performances in Shakespearean productions.

Since making his acting debut in 2008, Adhyayan has collaborated with some of the industry’s most respected filmmakers, including Mahesh Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Shekhar Suman and Prakash Jha. His body of work spans both in films and digital platforms, with notable projects such as Raaz, Jashn, Aashram, Heartless and Heeramandi. Across these, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to performance-driven storytelling, earning recognition for his emotional range and compelling screen presence.

Expanding his journey further, he stepped into direction with his debut feature film, Main Na Raha Mera (2026)—a deeply personal, nostalgia-driven romantic drama that marks a significant evolution in his storytelling.

In addition to his work in cinema, Adhyayan is an entrepreneur and creative visionary. He is the founder of the luxury fashion label Duchess Kumari and the co-founder of Madrigal Studios, an end to end Post Production House.

At the Shekhar Suman Film Academy (SSFA), Adhyayan Suman contributes a contemporary perspective and dynamic creative leadership. His approach to mentoring emphasizes hands-on learning, discipline, and the cultivation of individual voice—bridging classical craft with the evolving demands of today’s entertainment industry.

Adhyayan is also set to step in as a producer, for the upcoming revival of the iconic late-night talk show Movers and Shakers.

Ekant Babani is the Partner and Chief Operating Officer at the Shekhar Suman Film Academy, bringing with him over 25 years of hands-on experience in the Indian entertainment industry as a producer and director.

Having worked across multiple formats and phases of the industry, Ekant has a deep, practical understanding of how films and creative projects are developed, produced, and executed in real-world environments.

At the academy, Ekant plays a pivotal role in shaping its structure, systems, and execution. From building industry-relevant programs to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, he brings experience, discipline, and forward-thinking processes to create an institution that is both creatively inspiring and professionally run.

Together with Shekhar Suman, Ekant Babani is committed to building a new-age film academy that combines legacy, innovation, and industry relevance — empowering the next generation of actors and film professionals.
